I have a newly issued DTV and it is definitely in the system. I passed through immigration 2 days ago. First thing I passed to the IO was my passport and boarding pass. She only took up the passport, didn't look at the boarding pass and before I could shower her my DTV or TDAC she had stamped my passport with the correct stamp. So easy now. 😊

I recently had a similar experience. Mine was pending for 9 days.

Also on the 9th day it came through after office hours.

Yes. I think so. I did here a suggestion that it's better to approach a male officer rather than female. Next visit I will be trying this.

Not true. Last year I travelled 4 times to Thailand. The last visit I was questioned a lot and the officer asked a supervisor if it was ok to let me through. My first trip this year was ok but for my second trip in May the officer had attitude. (Checking everything and taking a long time. ) Lucky I had an evisa. I feel I could have been rejected if not for the evisa.

I did feel the IM had some attitude on the day. I also had an eVisa. She wanted to see that too. Lucky I had one i think. Mostly I rely an a visa exemption.

My last entry to Thailand In mid May I was asked to produce the email to the Immigation Officer. Best to be prepared.

just hearsay but I heard they only allow 2 land entries per year

Recently, a foreign friend of mine was informed of this Thai immigration at the mukdahan Thai/Laos boarder crossing.
