I appreciate your response. That might be the problem, as the condition that I have is not recognized by the Thai government. The treatment is used to treat other conditions, though. Do you know of any resources where I could further read into this?

the treatment I am getting is for a skin condition, and the clinic is one of the only places in the world where this treatment is available. It is very small, and according to them they are not able to sponsor medical visas at this time. But as I mentioned, they are reforming their company and may be able to provide visas in the near future. I am trying to find what information they will need to provide in order to be able to sponsor their patients.

thank you for the response. I'm assuming things were a bit more relaxed before covid? My concern is that they won't accept medical treatment as a reason for re-entering unless I get a proper medical visa.
