sorry you are talking nonsense, bank account opening is still possible in Pattaya.

not true, you obviously are not as informed as you think you are. A Pattaya visa agent as recently as last week was advertising this service on YouTube. They are just avoiding BB, but yes for a fee agents are still able to open bank accounts for visa exempt or tourist visa holders and supplying the funds to qualify for the Non-O. Trying to do it yourself without an agent is now almost impossible.

not true. Agents in Pattaya are still able to open bank accounts for people on tourist visa or visa exempt providing they are applying through that agent for a following Non-O. Obviously for a fee.

Well you failed at the first step. You cannot work in Thailand. You cannot set up a Thai business to work in it.

Thailand only taxes on remitted foreign sourced income and not on global income. No change.

He does not say why he was rejected at Nakhon Sawan. You, again, are jumping to conclusions.

go to your local Immigration Office and ask for the list of requirements to convert from a tourist visa to the retirement visa. Follow the list.

if he doesn’t have the 800k already sat in a Thai bank account then he doesn’t meet the requirements.
