my first Thai wife was in Nong Khai 2006, she was a nurse, lived there,ran into few farangs teaching here n there. Had an another friend few years later in Korat that taught English outside city in Nakon Nowhere, no degree…..

I taught English in Mexico 1972 in Zacatecas, working on a degree…..never made it…..that’s another story….

, if you divorce and it’s not mutual split or a friendly separation, and winds up in court, if you paid for a house etc and have receipts to prove you brought the money in, Thai courts are suppose to rule in favor of the provider. Divorce is always nasty in USA also, can be brutal in Thailand too if you aren’t prepared or don’t have a prenuptial, to protect your assets. They are very common in USA

I had a prenuptial with an American woman too. Go figure

When I got married in Thailand all my translations had to be by a “ certified Translator” , stamped with official Thai certifications.

And if you are doing a prenuptial agreement, it has to be filed with the new marriage papers, simultaneously. Not the next day or later or it’s not valid.

I got a 90 day Non O at Thai Embassy Wash DC , about 7 days , one year ago
