It's a good option for visa run. I'm doing one here right now. Just find a cheap accomodation or spend few nights on a resort, whatever you like.

BKK - PQC plane was 20% full, so there was no queue at check-in, making it very easy to get through airport.

The cultural differences to Thailand are huge though, you may not like the island. I'm here for 15 days but even 5 days would have been enough.

It's hard to find beach bungalow unless you stay on a pricy resort.

So I arrived 3h 30min early because I wanted to explore the area and convert currency. Big mistake.

Check-in had no que. They didn’t even check bag weight, they just added all good stamp on it.

Security had no que either and was done in 3 minutes.

So 2 hours is totally fine or even less.

I’ll wait and see if visa run flight will have more strict measures. For now im wearing 3 sets of clothes to be sure of bag space 🤣

The airport is cold though...

Most of them use DMK. I decided to book VietJet because I'm close to that airport and I can convert currency there too.

Thanks for the replies. As its the "international" airport, I thought that there's more security measurements, but wasn't sure how much of that applies to domestic flights.

One more question, how strict they are about hand luggage? I only have a backpack and its quite bloated from all the stuff in it. It should be less than 7kg, I think thats the most important thing.

I got confused whether they allow booking on the same day. Maybe its techinical error on their side

Can you open balcony full?

Try to re-upload the documents just before hitting submit. It worked for me (2nd time).

I think that if you take long break between submit, that can cause the error
