Can I apply for a 30-day extension in Hua Hin if my TM30 is filed in Chiang Mai?

We was at the immigration today in bluport HH. They had us fillout a slip with address (hotel/house) and asked for passport and 1900 baht We had eveeything else ready (tm30, bank statement to be sure) never asked for anything, not even TM7 .That was a 30 day extension ontop of a visa exemption
