If a neighbour complains you can be in the shit. If you own the land, it's ok. But farang can't own the land, so you're in effect working for someone else. Sounds stupid but that's how it works.

😂😂😂. I doubt that very much! Immigration doesn't care where you are when you apply. The application is made through the MFA, nothing to do with immigration. I know many people who apply for a TR visa in country, then border bounce to activate it, then get an extension. Immigration doesn't care - they're too busy checking your TM30!!! 😂😂😂

Personally I wouldn't be doing that, but I imagine you'd present an extension application form, photos and 1900 baht, and possibly a TM30, the same as any other extension. What's your take? Arrest and deportation? 😂😂😂

Exactly! And that's in cases where corrupt immigration officers have been bribed thousands of baht, not where an applicant has applied for a visa whilst in Thailand.
