Just be mindful you have to exit after 90 days on this visa. The length of stay is only 60 days + 30 day extension. The visa itself last for 6 months

I’ve always found Sydney better to deal with than Canberra

The DTV is advertised for $600 or 14,700฿ on the Thai Embassy Canberra website. So good to see there on board quickly.

yeah mate that’s correct and you upload the required documents online and send the original documents with the passport through post when they reply.

I live in NSW and takes me about 10 days start to finish.

Use express post both ways.

I’ve done it many times with Sydney Consulate . You don’t send a scanned copy you complete it online first from their website and wait for pre approval email with the reference number they supply you.

Than you add the reference number to your visa application and send you’re documents to them with a self addressed return envelope and wait for you’re passport to come back with the visa sticker inside mate.

The advantage to the non O is it will provide you the 90 days, save you a trip to immigration. Non O seems easier to me
