If your new employer provides all documents for work permit and visa you can get an extension.

In my case ,I only need last year P.N.D91 for applying new visa . You need to apply new work permit as the same day when your old work permit cancellation day and need to go to immigration to cancel old visa and wait new visa.That need to be finished one day . I think it’s depend on the new employer good communication.
