Cool thanks for that!! Is it always a 2 day turn around time for visas? Or should we allow for longer? The foundation we are volunteering with have done heaps of these applications so confident we will have all we need
I can't register the birth, but I can get the passport which would take about 15 days to receive back via mail. It's registering the birth in Australia that I'm worried about. From their website and past experiences it takes a couple of months to receive the birth certificate
Have a similar question regarding babies....can I travel from Thailand to Vientaine (to put myself and my children on a non o visa) with my newborn just with it's birth certificate? or does the baby need a passport? We will be getting it a passport but by the time we register the birth in Australia & get certificate to get passport it could take months!
Great. So if I plan to extend myself and the children's twice in Mae Sai at 500 baht each, and then fly to Vientaine to do my non-o visa (which the kids would come under) that would work??
