The post is about people recently getting hassled by Thai immigration. You weren’t there. Just because it didn’t happen to you personally gives you no right to judge others. You may want to check yourself first.

They already did at my 30 day extension. I didn’t appreciate it. I could do w/o the attitude. I’m not a scofflaw; I follow the rules and contribute to tourism dollars. I don’t need friendly; civil w/no attitude would be nice.

I typically come in on a 60 and extend 30. I’ve never done a border run.

I love Thailand but if I’m made to feel unwanted I’ll look elsewhere. Philippines is nice and I hear Malaysia and Bali are beautiful. Much as I love Thailand, the next time they hassle me at immigration will be the last.
