Neville Frost. That's the Royal Dutch Airline for you. I leave from Amsterdam every time I go to Thailand. But never with KLM. Not even for free. Hope it will not give you too much problems!!

I had no overstay but needed to extend my visa. insurance paid. Also accommodation, food and business class ticket home later😀

If u got travel insurance u send them the receipt from immigration. They will reimburse u.
