it didn’t really matter, I can apply in Hanoi. But I’ll be in Da Nang so still a long way for an interview

I agree. I’m about to apply in Australia from Brisbane, through the Sydney Embassy. That’s a 10 hour drive away so I won’t be going in for any appointments. About 10 days after I apply I have a month long trip in Vietnam what’s the difference!

What is the bank balance requirement for applying for a Thai visa, 500k total over 6 months or per month?

Really depends on the embassy I think. I’ve seen lots of people in here. Note the money only went in the bank a day or a week before and got these was no problems.

And I’ve seen other people at other embassies get knocked back because it wasn’t in there for three months
