Another note I use a Skype number for all my interactions with Fidelity and a US credit union. Flawless.

I use Fidelity and their wires are free. Another benefit is 24 hours a day you get a real person on the phone. You do need to have “standing orders” set up before you leave the states. I assumed Schwab has the same.

Do you have a Fidelity or Schwab account? I use Fidelity and just do a wire transfer to BKK. Free and easy. Rates equal to Wise.

Is Google Voice a good option for making international calls back to the USA while living in Thailand?

I use Skype for my Fidelity account and my bank back home. Flawless.Works with Social Security and IRS site too.

Before. Kept a USA address too. If not there are some investments you can not own. Fidelity has been flawless and I sure appreciate the 24hr access. Something my boutique broker couldn’t offer!!

Just get a Skype number. Works for my US bank and Fidelity account. No issues with the IRS or Social Security.
