Agents are not working with Kasikorn Bank. One of them told me 'that bank is doing everything according to book'. The other two well-known banks they are working with are also acting very strictly recently. So you do not have a choice other than transferring the required amount.
I have a similar experience. My application was pending for more than a month on visa website. I also tried to reach the embassy but very soon realized that they would answer no mails or calls. Then at the last 2-3 days before my flight date, they asked me an additional financial document. As soon as I sent that, they approved. Approval date was just my flight date. Good that I bought a refundable ticket.
I was in the same situation. Bangkok bank refused but Kasikorn Bank accepted (agents don't work with this bank as they do everything legal). You can try Krungthai bank as well but I hear they are not accepting either.
Thanks man. I am already registered on thai visa site and got a non-O there. I suggest you first try to understand the matter before giving advice to anybody.
Thanks. I was just wondering how much time it takes to get one year extension at immigration. Mine will be first time but I suppose -and hope- it won't take too much time.
Sorry to bother you again but if I apply for extension on just last day of my stamped period, would it be a problem time wise? How long does it take to get an extension usually?
