It's not any specific amount. They simply like to see a solid savings record. Realistically, anyone can drop $10,000 into an account for a few days. Last time my lady did a UK they asked for 12 months bank statements. UK is getting tougher. Also show payslips and employment record

I didn't say he was staying at hotels. He said he wasn't aware of hotels doing it, but most do, but they don't necessarily tell you. That's the point I was making 😆👍

Jeremy Miller Yes "technically". But smart people get a proper visa which doesn't require the expense of scampering to a land border and an immigration office every 30 or 60 days. Border bouncing does cost money and time

If you were only here on 45 day exempt, you'd never have need for a TM30. Most hotels do it through their online system. They don't give you anything unless you specifically ask
