when people ask questions you answer them they are looking for a 1 year visa that does exist later in comments it was explained what visa they can get as tourist i explained what 1 yr visa exists for further information if they qualify for.

Perhaps you need to stop using google to respond to people or listen to what they are asking. They are interested in a 1 yr visa there is an option. I know people with the 1 year visa for exactly what they are looking for.

hey its you again and yes it does exist Non-O A visa is a 1 year tourist visa but requires age 50 health insurance and finance. It does exist. Dont you hate to keep being proved wrong by me.

Its called a retirement visa they asked for a 1 year visa one does exist you are always wrong. Fact they called it "holiday visa" means nothing

yes they are limiting visa exempt visits halting border runs thats being used to take advantage of their tourism system. When I came here I upgraded to a student visa I seen the changes coming now people who been doing border runs for years are complaining. Simple if you are here for 5 years you are not a tourist

I havent paid federal income taxes since 2020 while drawing 65k USD a year. My retirement is based off compensation from the VA its not pension. In the DTA guidelines thailand will not tax me either.

you are giving bad advice if the income isnt covered under the DTA in thailand you are subject to their tax structure

If you are in thaialnd for a accumlitive of 180 days ( doesnt have to be consecutive ) you are subject to their tax no matter if you derive income locally in thailand or from foreign sources. Again thats if its not covered under the DTA

yes there is you may want to check that i know a few retired visa holders thst limit what they bring in to avoid paying taxes. My income is tax free due to a treaty between US Government and thai Kingdom DTA treaty.

If an Americans income is the result of federal benifits Thailand doesn't tax it

There is no border bounce with a visa you leaving and coming back is just you using your visa.
