Bent Sennenwaldt did you miss to read that I told him that he doesn't need a visa, but if he enters after May 1st he needs a TDAC ?

I know 😄😅😂 I never said that the TDAC is a visa

you missed to read my reply. Three people told him he doesn't need a visa, and I told him that he might need a TDAC if he enters after May 1st

you show the printed E-Visa.pdf document upon entry into Thailand. You will get stamped in for a 90-days "Stay Permit". And the visa itself will become invalid (it is only good to use for ONE entry). You can apply for a "1-year Extension of this Stay Permit" based on the reason this Non-O visa got issued for, on Immigration, if you fulfill the requirements

wow, and you know this firsthand because some Immigration officer told you so? Or an agent? Or some guy sipping a Chang beer next to you?

the question about the visa was already answered by 3 others. However they forgot to mention the TDAC. That's why I added this very crucial information. Incomplete replies need a completion 😉

I agree, too. Yet, it remains to be seen . . . . . . The DTV is NOT mentioned in the police order describing the "change of visa type" to a 90-days Non-Imm-O retirement visa, unless you define "tourist visa" regarding EVERY tourist visa class. Until now. I yet haven't read or heard about a DTV being used for the change (number 9 in the list). The police order requires you to start with a visa-exempt, with a tourist visa or a transit visa. The DTV is not mentioned. It remains to be seen if Immigrations will interpret it accordingly and accept such a change
