Just come on a tourist Visa.

And get an extension, Wow, your money is sitting in the account for 3 months. You'll have to take a quick flight to the name. Vietnam or maybe kl malaser up to you the flights only about $100. A lot less than the cost of a visa agent. No need for a Visa agent. There are volunteers at immigration. That can check your paperwork and coach you on what you need. Also, there are Thailand Visa Facebook groups that will help you.. Welcome to Thailand the land of smiles. I did exactly what you're doing 8 years ago. And I love it. I agree with your response 👍 The OP sounds a little bitter and possibly Not cut out for trying to fit into a new culture.

My wife and I came 7 years ago. And we put down roots and we absolutely love it! Of course it's not for everyone. Like the millions and millions of people in bangkok, But you can have bangkok, We love Chiangmai ❤️ 😍 💖 too

You are so correct , I have been a landlord for twenty years and I have many stories to tell. My Thailand wife rents out 4 different condos. And the contract says We will refund your deposit.

One week after you move out. It often takes a while before you discover the damage that these people have done. Like children, they're trying to hide their mistakes. I'm constantly amused.

When someone here invests 2 million And then temporarily rents it out for 10,000 per month.

And they flip out over when they're going to get their deposit back. At that rate of return thailand people don't see a profit for twenty years. I have no sympathy for some of these folks. Go through an agency if your afraid of not getting your deposit back,they will advocate for you 😉

No agent needed just Google what's needed and que up,if need be they will tell you what you need. Been here 7 years and renewed twice as well as retirement Visa, all without wasting money with agencies
