There is a market for mental health, but most jobs like that forbid foreigners from working them, also I assume you don't speak thai so that's another barrier that you'll face as you need to speak to people and understand their problems. If you were thinking you're coming here to assist foreigners only forget about it, thailand is not the place to create jobs that doesn't benefit thai people (what europe should do in my opinion). Learn thai first and then speak to employers and get sponsorships

In what country do they let you open a bank account with no fixed address? Does Australia let you open a bank account on a hotel address?

he didn't say retirement visa, if it's non-o can be marriage visa? If so in his case it's 400k, but yeah, you have to stay the whole period here as the 90 day visa its single entry, then be in the kingdom for the 2 months period of money deposited in the account and then you're ready to apply for yearly extension, they had me wait 2 more weeks after applying for result and i got result few days before my 90 days expired. Only after that can apply for re-entry permit so you go and come as you please.

김총우 at 400-500k you probl lose 2-300usd easy to do all that, also banks are funny with all crypro transactions, so can also add up the posibility of blocking your money as suspicious and force you to pay them a visit to the branch to unlock it, costing you even more money

김총우 Failing to mention which coin, also crypto exchanges coinbase, binance etc. They steal from you once you buy crypto, then every coin has their own transfer fees, also the indtability of all the coins including bitcoin, fees to convert back to fiat. That's why nobody serious deals with crypto unless you are involved with illegal income or a desperate crypto bro that put their life savings into some sht coin and desperately trying to covine people to join the pyramid scheme so they get their cash back.

Stephen Howell nobody asked me about any sworn statements from neighbours, just few pics, also you block half the amount of money in a currency that's losing value very easy. Rather block 400k than 800k in thb, everything else is the same, 3 mknth reporting etc.

Normally you need permit from immigration to open bank account, but while I was waiting for mine I tried at Kasikorn with my wife as I was bored and they made it in 20 minutes, card and everything. Advisory tho as I read lots of other experiences, thailand is still thailand, regardless of official rules, depends on workers, how you look like, how much money you'll deposit, sometimes even your nationality are factors for your experience, everyone gets different treatment everywhere in everything in thailand. All in all just try multiple, no bank gives the same experience to everyone, it's not the west
