months. I also heard this story that there are some immigrations agents that will not ask u questions in exchange of $$$ but it's also true that there are a lot of scammers who will just get your money promising something they can't do. you can legally buy and elite visa, that's your answer
I'd suggest Taiwan, it's probably the best place in the world for living, it's a bit pricer than thailand but really safe and clean. Taipei is much more livable than bangkok and you could probably get 3 months of visa exemption that could turn into 6 with a quick border bounce
they do, I know dozen of folks who had their visa denied but once they pay $$$ to an agency got their visa approved in a blink of an eye, call that luck then ;)

in that case I believe you can try to apply for the visa by yourself. Just point out she has plenty of reasons to go back to thailand so she'll be a legit tourist in Australia. Her business and 2 children should be a more than valid reason
