You obviously don't know how it works. Immigration is a part of The Royal Thai Police, while Embassies and consulates are part of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Immigration doesn't give a shit about a visa of any kind,and has the right to deny entry. This is a fact and nothing to argue about.
Having problems with Korat immigration incl. waiting a long time doesn't mean it's the same everywhere else. There are about 85 immigration offices in 77 provinces in Thailand. I'm staying in Jomtien where It's a breeze at immigration when on an extension based on retirement or marriage. No strange requirements here whatsoever, and no need to wait a long time as long as you're not going there a Monday or Tuesday morning 8:30.
Many people thinks the way you do about being "listened to"? Really? Do you believe in the tooth fairy as well? Of course there are stuff they can detect, but listening to you, is a bit over the top.
