I've been told I have to go "in person", 1st to Dept of Labor to have the Work Permit canceled (I have to get a signed form from my employer), then to Immigration with proof of cancelation so my Non-B can also be canceled, then I have to leave the country the same day. I'm waiting for a response from my company.

I'm not sure I understand you correctly, you say that it can be done in advance, I thought I have to cancel both, then leave the country on that same day?

thanks for your response. I wasn't fired, I asked to have my contract terminated, I'm just not sure what the procedure is, I'm worried about doing both in one day and then having to leave that same day, time constraints are my main worries for the final day. I'm also not hearing from the company, I guess I'll just have to contact them again!
