Yes Tod is correct. The extension of visa exempt for family visit purpose or has anything to do with marriage is in Muang Thong Thani, unless you’re going to do Non-Immigration Visa O (Spouse).
I was advised to go to Muang Thong Thani to get more time to do marriage documents using visa extension based on family/marriage there.
Note : My situation before was I had tourist visa exempt asean (and hadn’t had any extension). I tried to apply non-o for the first time there.
Sorry forgot to mention that my marriage certificate is from abroad. My last attempt to make Visa O (Marriage) didn’t work because they required my marriage to be registered in Thai. I was thinking if the tourist visa exemption extension based on family requires the same thing, then is it better to resort to extension based on tourist instead? Or Covid 19 emergency extension?
This is not the whole picture of the queue outside the entrance in Building B (checking ID and temperature screening) since physical distancing is required. I came at 8.30am the queue had around 20-25 people. But the queue number for specific purpose inside will be different.
yes thanks Tod. And also the lady said they want me to hand out 2 final documents (1) marriage book copy legalized by my embassy in Thailand and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thailand (Legalization Department) (2) Kor Ror 22.
today I tried to make Non-O based on marriage in CW. I couldn’t proceed because I need more documents to complete. The officer advised me to extend my tourist visa to 60 days first (but the final decision depends on the authority) in MTT. So, tomorrow I will try to do the tourist visa extension I currently have for visiting family.
