You can have a Condo under your name in freehold. And when you sell it you can take the money out of Thailand, if you bought it originally with funds from outside Thailand.

2 years ago, before the Russian influx, prices were about 20 % of what they charge now. But because of the influx they charge whatever they want.I would personally make sure i have REAL funds in the bank. If you are found out, you get kicked out immediately.

Prices have certainly gone up a lot. It doesnt make sense because the covid excuse is gone and all airlines are running at profitable margins. Singapore Air went up by 36% from South Africa to Phuket in the last year. Thats tracking it over the whole year .
