Personally, I would be worried about the U.S. airports having federal marshals hunting for Civil Forfeiture opportunities. It's a small risk but I see no reason to take it. Any legally owned cash is best protected by having a banking paper trail. Your cash will roll up and down in value the same anywhere in the world until it's exchanged for other currencies. BrilliantShark3683 FYI- LTE and 4G are the same thing. They are telling you that the old signal standard of 3G is going away. If your current phone has LTE you are all good. My advice would be to simply contact your phone company to verify that your exact model is still supported. If yes = All Good. If No = Make sure they are not trying to upsell you to a new phone for no reason like they did to us Americans years back.
