The rules changed on Nov 13 I told u already you used to get 2 x 60 day visas either evisa or visa free with the option of getting another 30 days but that changed so you can only get the option of 1 30 day extension m then the next time only 7 days extension .I used to have a retirement visa for the last 15 years but 1 year ago I had to leave Thailand because of the death of my father in Australia so I was not able to renew my retirement visa as I was outside of Thailand n going back n forth for health n legal reasons so I was getting evisa 60 days n extending for 30 days you used to able to do that twice now only 1 time n the next only 7 days extension allowable. Now making enquiries about retirement visa but made harder m more expensive because I have an account in the Bangkok bank

sorry but you are wrong saying there is no new visa rules .the rules changed on November 13 th this year I know because I was in Jomteim immigration on the 13 th nov to do my normal extra 30 days on my second Evisa 60 day which I applied n received I'm Australia.it was refused n I had to leave the country the next day,if I had gone in the day before the 12 th I would have received an extra 30 days

it's a funny thing Thai embassies issue 90 day visas but when you get to Thailand the immigration officer shorten it to 60 days ( it happened to me last week 90 days issued in Ho chi Minh city at the Thai embassy but shortened to 60 days in Bangkok by the young immigration officer at the airport .) why do they even have an embassy when they override their decisions .
