A year or so ago I went to immigration in Ubon to get an extension. My girlfriend was told she was in violation for not reporting me staying at her address. I think, even though I submitted her address and submitted her invitation letter when applying for the METV, she should have filed to report my presence at her address.

She talked her way out of paying a fine, but this is what we learned.

I have PLANS to be on a PLANE to BKK, but that's a week from now. I appreciate all the good info I see from this group.

And I also appreciate the entertainment factor. (Sometimes)

BTW, I'm 75 years old and will return to Thailand in a month. I look forward to the 300 step stairway at Huai Luang Waterfall!
