Just want to add an update for those that may be interested in this topic and to thank those who have been good enough to offer their advice.

I was very reluctant to go back to Soi 5, Jomtien after my experience there

last week (rude to say the least) but went ahead anyway.

The situation is as follows. On the 20th. I will be given a 90 day extention visa and after that I will get my 1 year Retirement Extention....So "All's

Good"... The thought just occurred to me. ..I presume I could still use my return ticket on the 20th. if I choose to rather than waste it or change it to another date and return before the 90 days are up.

Anyway, thanks again to those who helped out....Maybe we will bump into each other some day in Soi 5...GB.
