used correctly you can get 9 months out of it and not have to have 800 K in a bank

Mind you more than one would have be be used over a few years

you can however your atm card will incur a small fee when used at atm outside of the area

I thought to get a retirement visa you needed to transfer from another visa not from visa exempt

Is it possible to re-enter Thailand under the visa exemption rule after a trip to Malaysia?

If you have a return ticket to show them you shouldn’t have an issue but it’s up to the IO

Also friending who you got with and from where you may have an issue with departing if return date is over the time you are allowed to stay

Some not all airlines do check this
