except you're wrong and there's lots of other people who are pointing out the same issue. Every detail between my wife's application and mine were identical except my passport. Everything else was input properly. I'm looking at the application everything is correct. Some places allow the full United States Department of State, some will only allow United States.

I'm not saying that's what they should be doing, but there isn't a way to challenge it either.

I just was wondering where you applied, it seems like some consulates and embassies are more lenient than others. Canada seems great, there seems to even be a slight difference between Ho Chi Minh vs Hanoi.

Anonymous participant 809 yeah, when searching I see that now but I just filled out the form based on what they told me to do. 😅 Even then it seems like for some people it's fine for other people it's not.

Anonymous participant 730 I'm not sure, maybe it was another reason other people said they didn't have a problem. All my information looks correct to me

not sure, our forms are identical except this (will my whole passport country / info) and this error message seems to usually about this issue. What country did you apply in? I'm seeing that Vietnam is more strict about this issue

thanks. She filled out both our forms so there shouldn't be many differences. I don't really mind if it is this and it's the problem, but I hate am extra payment for it. We will see, maybe I won't use Vietnam next time.
