Thanks Tod, i get the 1 year based on Family now and have done so for the last 4 years, i get aso the multi re entry permit and travel in and out every 2 weeks, i was hoping to get the retirment visa as its less paper work and much quicker to get. If i can leave during the 1 month consideration period, that will help.
whats the difference? A retirment visa is approved instantly each year and no one month wait. I meet the requirements for both - just think if i can avoid the 1 month wait, it would help me alot. But if i can leave during that time, it is a big help. Less paper work with a retirment visa
Thanks, i still work outside of Thailand and leave and re enter every month a couple of times, i was hoping to avoid the 1 month wait of consideration, it means i cant leave Thailand while i wait for them to approve the 1 year visa, next year i can get the retirment visa and it will make life alot eaiser
