But I have to go to the immigration office in Bangkok right? Doesn’t that take like several hours to wait there? But maybe it’s better to do that

I was just asking because I would leave exactly after 90 days was hit but I might just take an earlier flight to avoid the hassle at the immigration office…I know it can vary from a few hours to almost all day there that’s why I’m not so keen on doing it.

I hope it goes well I felt the key thing was to show that one would have one’s monthly expenses covered by some sort of income. But I know some friends who had to wait 3-4 weeks until they got accepted.

I went in December it took me 7 working days to get it, they requested some additional things like 6 months bank statements I sent only 3 first time, and they wanted to see pictures of all my pages in my passport, etc. And they also requested me to provide information on how I would provide for myself even though I had more than the 500k, the first time I said zero income so they didn’t accept it until I changed it and explained I had some grants and scholarship for online studies while I would do Muay Thai.
