Do you have to visit a thai embassy, or do you just return through immigration at the airport?

I just made a reservation with them. I live on Pratumnak hill with no car or motorbike. Are there Bolt drivers at 5:30 am?

I didn't ask the question correctly. I've never done a border run. I have a retirement visa. However, my 21 year old son is visiting me and wants to stay longer than the 30 day extention to 60 days.

I wasn't planning on it. maybe I should just buy round tickets for 60 days, and just pay to change it once we get there. I'm bringing my son and I don't want a hassle. Would that be the safest?

@Ralph ******
so, how should I book his flight? A round trip for 3 months? Or will the immigration care if I book it for 4 months? Given that I plan a border run. Or, book a 60 day, but then change the flight after we get there?
