My husband had two hernia surgeries at Bangkok hospital, private room for 3 days, close to 10k USD all covered by AIA. He pays $1000 USD per yr for insurance. So basically with that one surgery we have 10 years of insurance paid. People think they don’t need insurance and can pay out of pocket when needed but they never know what kind illness they might get, not all illnesses are like heart attacks or quick death…you might be dying for a long time while spending all your savings. 🤦🏻‍♀️
