Which bank is your ISA with?

I was approved in Hanoi with over 500k in a NatWest savings account for over 6 months. I provided 6 months of the savings account statements with the 500k+ and 6 months of current account statements with no significant balance just to show more transactions.

The issue with ISA’s is they aren’t technically immediately accessible (like you’ve said in the edited part). I think they approved my application because both my accounts were with NatWest and I have a large savings amount and I can access it easily like a checking account.

If you have to apply before having the 500k in a checking / savings account for more than 3 months then you’ll need to write a good formal cover letter to explain why. I’ve written all tips in my post that I found from others. Some people have been fine transferring the money over a few weeks before, but it’s a risk.

Could you apply in London? They don’t seem to be as strict.. Search the group for posts about London, they’ve been super quick (2-4 days)and many people transferring the money the day before.
