Obviously you are a newbee. The paper TM6 forms were stopped for air arrivals about 30 months ago, and the 60 day visa exemption only came in about 8 months ago.

The ONLY confusion in these issues is when all the Buakhao Boozers get online during their afternoon session and start dabbing away on their phones, hypothesizing, gossipping and expressing their opinions.

I suggest that you ignore all of this noise and wait until the Thai government makes a definitive statement.

In this particular case the Thai government website was linked and a simple click would have given you your answer, which I took the trouble of posting to you.

Thailand is aiming for 800,000 arrivals every week. Unbelievably the vast majority manage to work out what to do themselves.

It started with the British Empire, where the colonies were exploited and deprived of their wealth to enrich the whites.

This "Imperialist spirit" has never really disappeared, even though after WW2 the empire imploded.

Due to the destroyed economies of Europe, they all accepted the superiority of Washington and ever since have meekly followed US foreign policy. Washington took the opportunity to expand the Wolfowitz and Monroe doctrines, which gave the US a manifest destiny to rule the globe, and Americans rated themselves exceptional.

Most of the wars and geopolitics since then stem from the belief that Washington should rule as planetary hegemon. The whites fell in line, with the UK seeing itself as the deputy. Although the US never really respected the UK, it was the useful idiot that could be used to help fighting US wars. Not a single one of the promised "favoured trade partner" agreements ever came to anything.

An underlying national fascism is now rearing its ugly head. Immigration, a failing economy and a desperate feeling that "something drastic" has to be done.

At the moment Russia is the focus and gets the blame. If the British attention can be channelled against an external enemy, it gives the tossers in Westminster a bit of time to kick the can down the road, hoping for a miracle to roll along.
