I understand it can be a bit difficult to connect the Non O with your first year. You can enter on a visa extension and apply for a Non O inside Thailand, get a re-entry permit and apply for the extension of stay on your next rotation if it’s possible to link it within the timeframe you have available.

No particular procedure as long as you already have your re-entry permits. You check out electronically or manually trough the immigration and get stamped back in on your Extension of Stay (As several calls “retirement visa”).

You might need to update your TM.30 at your immigration, but several immigration don’t require an update as long as you re-enter to the same address. You’ll need to do your first new 90 days report manually as the clock resets each time you reenter the country.

Requirements varies between embassies/consulates. This is as an example requirement for a 90 days Non O based on marriage at the embassy in Washington DC. Income min 1500 usd a monthly or funds usd. For the first year extension of stay in Thailand you’ll need to prove 400K baht in your Thai bank two months prior to the application.

yes between the Non O entrance and the first year extension of stay you’ll need some time. The one year Non O-A visa has still multiple entries. The main requirements are the same, but you’ll need to have a health insurance, health certificate and provide a police check up as well. This gives you possibility to travel for two years to Thailand if you update your health insurance and get re-entry permits for your second year.

Same requirements for Non O with single entry as the multiple you could get until October last year, income/pension equal to min 65K baht OR funds equal to 800K baht.

Why? Just apply for yearly extension of stay and get re-entry permits. Then you can come and go as you like.

Maybe the best for you is to apply for a 90 days Non O visa with single entry and do one year extension of stay in Thailand with multiple re-entry permits. Then you can just come and go as you wish.

Extension of stay is 1900 baht and re-entry permit is 1000 baht for single, multiple 3800 baht.

Check in your e-visa portal if it still says “processing” or “finished” and check the spam filter of your e-mail.

The process is normally done just in a couple of days.

How long time do u like to spent in Thailand in total at this moment? You can apply for a 30 days extension at your local immigration, do a border bounce and re-enter on another 60 days visa exemption.
