TLDR : Answer Summary
The TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) must be completed no earlier than 72 hours before landing and can even be done at the airport upon arrival. Many users confirmed that it's possible to do it at kiosks or tablets set up in the immigration area. Comments suggest it's essential to have your confirmation ready, as some immigration officers check for the QR code. Additionally, inquiries arose about the duration of industry regulations and visa exemptions, indicating confusion over the changing rules.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be tdac.in.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

How long does this tdac last for when in Thailand and is the 60 day visa exempt still active asking for a mate , they keep changing the rules

@John *******
It's needed for arrival not for use inside Thailand and Visa Exempt is still 60 days

They will have kiosk at BKK for those who failed to do it before landing.

@Peter ******
correct, actually first, second, third, fourth, etc.

@Peter ******
What can be done at the airport? There are no Immigration services at airports apart from those stamping you in and that is their only function.
Graham ******
There are stations just before Immigration where you can complete your TDAC

@Peter ******
, there is no "first month" limit.

It can be done anywhere before you reach the passport control - even in the queue while you are waiting.

I went through immigration at SUV this morning and some officials will ask to see your confirmation QR code. Some people had printed out the two page email, others had it on their phone. It was a miss. Seems the older staff just were paying attention to the passport and biometrics and the newer younger staff were more cautious. Though immigration was jammed pack those who were checking the forms told people to get out of line, line in the app and return into line.

yes,had a qr code ready on my phone, immigration checked passport, took fingerprints and photo never asked me for the code

It is 3 days OR LESS before entry, not 3 days or more.

I got asked by Qatar before they booked me in my flight. It was easy enough but thought it was interesting they wanted to see before proceeding.

@Julia **********
They are not entitled to do that!

@Bent ************
it’s ok as it’s such a simple process and I had it done already.

@Julia **********
same with me —I was checking in with Qatar air and they waited til I completed the process before allowing me to check in on my flight from Europe.

Just a tip. The form asked me for the address of the Airbnb I'm at including the city (Bangkok), district (Bang Na) and sub-district (I had no clue so put Bang Na again and it worked). Sub-district is a required field but repeating the district worked, at least in my case. The form processed immediately. I had forgotten to do it at home so completed it between flights at the Hong Kong airport.

Any time within 3 days, there are also tablets set up in arrivals so you can even do it there when you arrive.

✈️🇹🇭For example, if you are arrival to Thailand on May 10th, you can fill out Tdack on May 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th. 👍

It’s 3 days maximum. You can even do it in the queue for immigration once you’ve landed
