Thanks for that... but I rarely go down to the basement.... the taxis, and now the trains, are from higher floors. I’ll check next time.. thanks.I must admit that the charge for changing money from an ATM has been steadily rising and you must be very careful with it. At Don Mueang recently it was 300 Baht with a maximum withdrawal of

baht ... a 3% charge on top of a bad exchange rate.... but it’s still usually better than most airport money changers.

It’s about time that the maximum amount from an ATM was increased to 15,000 Baht.

I never use money changers, especially at an airport.. they rob you blind. Use an ATM and thereafter, always make sure that you keep enough notes for a taxi ride for your next visit ( to any country) it saves time and often money in the long term.
