i was on a retiree visa living in BKK close to Icon Siam. No bank let me open an account for me with either a flat refusal or 101 formalities. Even KTB near me refused. One day i was at Pharam 9 mall n KTB only asked for my passport, 2 pics n pay 99 bath annually towards a medical insurance which covers a lot of stuff. Unfortunately i keep good health so not yet used the insurance. So rules do change from branch to branch of the same bank
i only speak from my experience. i did it a few years ago. Entered in Aug with a 30 days stamp in my pp. got an extn for Sep n Oct. then did a Loas run n applied for the 60 days which gave me to extend in BKK for another 30 days
Can you enter Thailand after July 01? Thailand is back to normal with the 30 day visa on arrival. You can extend it for another 30 days (twice) at a payment of 1900 baht each time. After the 90 day period you have to leave and re-enter if you want to continue your stay in Thailand. Medical insurance has been dropped but it's always recommended to take travel insurance. Hope you find this helpful.
I am who I am. There have been many who have helped me so I just pay back to society whenever I can. Any way if you need anything i will do it if I can.
welcome Caleb. No. I don't want anything in return. My blessing come from heaven. What goes around comes around so if I do good without expectations, good will come to me and it has. I too am not rich and I would surely have to relocate to Canada if i was sick but at 6my age God has been kind to me and given me good health since a young age and I don't even look my age. Stay positive at all times.
