I did forget so say to those that wonder that I DID get a warning stamp first. From said place, same place. But I forgot to pay proper attention and headed back there again after once again. And THEN they refused me. FYI. After that I went somewhere else and I did receive a visa without any problem.
OK, Thanks! Yes exactly. Emergencies only. Thats why I dont really want to ask at Immigration office either. Good to know though. Same "friend" told me you couldn't apply for extension until last day of the 60. Which obviously isn't true nor makes any sense. He has been here long enough. So it isn't like he wouldn't know. Not sure what the purpose of his mission here is, but for some reason it seems he tried to make it his to try and ruin mine.
Isn't it possible to get first 14 days extension for 1900 bath and then 7 days more for a further 1900 baht? I mean after the "standard" 30 days you have to get to get the full 90. I have never needed to try or ask really, but It would be good to know in case of emergency. Because someone swore that was the case. But then again he has some serious issues with sticking to the truth.
I totally agree with you. However I'm not working as a DJ. Would make no sense to do visa runs if I was working in Thailand as a DJ. Then I could get a work visa. I'm officially and formally retired. Would have no problem proving it to the embassy or producing efficient bank statement etc. Unfortunately you have to be at least 50 to apply for retirement visa no matter what. So that is not an option. Not quite yet anyway :/
According to official rules you can only visit Thailand twice per year I believe. 2x60 days , single entry. tourist visa (TR) plus 2x30 with the extensions. So about 6 months. BUT written or/and verbal rules are often a big grey area. Or Purple to be precis. It would be incorrect and unfair to claim anything for certain. It can be a problem but most probably wont be. Only way to know fore sure is to try. I mean a lot of people have been here for a LONG time just on tourist visas alone. If there is a problem it still doesn't necessarily mean you wont be allowed to enter in the end. "Just" hassle, Not sure how it works in France. But usually, but not always, you need/have a return ticket as well or one that confirms that you will/can leave the country withing 90 days. Otherwise they wont even give you the fancy sticker in your passport. AKA visa.
