Many others are in the same situation.

It seems that while they are cracking down in visa runs, people are posting their negative experiences however, human nature means the many thousands who have walked straight through are not heard.

I heard from someone today who was in a similar position, they sailed straight through immigration no questions, he did say he kept his boarding passes so they could see the flight originated in the UK though.

Unfortunately its too early to say, might have to wait a few weeks and get first hand experiences of other people making their third or more entries within the last 12 months.

Can I ask, does the visa start from the approval date or are you able to specify a date for the 6 months to start.

I ask as I am planning on travelling in January for a month and then again in May for a month

I was just wondering about that as well.

I usually come for a month, 3 times a year however always return back to UK for work.

Have been thinking of making it 2 month on, 2 months off as I move towards retirement.

This is so vague, not sure if I should just apply for a Non OA visa to be safe(er).
