There was a post where the friend was at T5 and was boarding his flight and was refused boarding despite informing them if this updates rule from a agency checking staff checking in Qatar passengers. Also they are not directly employed by Qatar and work for various airlines.

They only realised the cock up when the flight left.

Some have entered via visa exemption but some have encountered issues in check in due to lack of updated information regarding the Visa exemption scheme and have had check in staff being difficult insisting on having a visa.

So my advice is have this link and in red it states clearly the new rules on visa exemption so if any issues while checking in, it is there from the official website from RTE London

Just ensure that you get a time stamp of the results and also get a separate fit to fly certificate.

DR Donna can do the fit to fly and many have used her services and got onto Thailand.

This also includes countries listed below that are on the visa exemption scheme.

All you do is apply though the COE and select in the drop down menu your country, then second drop down is your embassy or consulate third drop down menu select medium term visitor - visa exemption. This is the last one on that drop down menu.

Then do your first part of your COE.

maybe he chose the TR one which also comes under medium term visa. But the exemption one is there.

there is no need to go to the embassy or consulate for a visa exemption if your only visiting for 30 days and with the added 15 days extension for quarantine cover. Makes sense.

Only apply if you are getting a TR or STV visa or a Non o immigration visa for marriage.
