Thank you. I now live in Nakhon Nayok. Can I go to my local immigration office? But I'm guessing they will need more documents and form filling than Cham Churi Square as I have never been there

Tried a second time. This time on 3 August, one day after the deadline of 2 August. Today received another rejection email. Same wording as the one I received on 3 August. I plan to go to immigration tomorrow. Can I go to any office? My extension was issued by the BOI One Stop Shop.

But then you can only stay 90 days at a time on a Non O Retirement. Am I correct?

Is it possible to just get another new O-A visa each year rather than an extension? It will cost more (6000 THB versus 2000) but you never need to keep the 800,000 in a Thai bank. Just time a trip back home each year with your visa expiry. I would much prefer dealing with the Embassy in London than Thai immigration

I agree, as I have to exit after 90 days this has never been a requirement. But as I am now staying (under the amnesty) over 90 days do I now have to report?

Thats interesting. No one in the government or Immigration could say the situation is resolved and we have "returned to normalcy"
