Iā€™ve tried with this visa as well but they all said I need work permit

Base on my experiences of trying to do this for over a year, no matter how many legalized documents you have, they wonā€™t open it for you unless you have a work permit.

There may be the odd one here or there that would do it but itā€™s very rare.

Another option is to open a Wise account, this way you can do payments in Thailand and also transfer money etc.

sorry Iā€™m

Not sure what an ARC is?

There is a line for ID number close to where you write your name.

I put down my countryā€™s ID number but they never cross referenced or checked it.

yes you use the application that says Manila on it. Also in the ā€˜otherā€™ line is where you write down DTV.

Anonymous participant it is just walk in between 9-11:30 ! But not to worry because this hidden gem is not busy at all! ESP compared to the Laos and KL one. Go onto their website to get the visa application form and there is also an authorization form to fill out for minor children obtaining visa (really short form) on top of the application form.

We just finished in Taipei as a family of 4. My husband applied first, he got approved at 4pm the same day, then the kids and I applied the next morning as dependants, had to come back at 4pm that day to find out if we were approved or not then paid the fee when approved. We then pick up on the next business day at 4pm.

We provided 6 months bank statements but we have more than 500K for the whole 6 months.

Base on other peopleā€™s experiences, you may be fine having the funds sitting there for just a month.

Let me know if you have any other questions, happy to help!
