Base on my experiences of trying to do this for over a year, no matter how many legalized documents you have, they wonāt open it for you unless you have a work permit.
There may be the odd one here or there that would do it but itās very rare.
Another option is to open a Wise account, this way you can do payments in Thailand and also transfer money etc.
Anonymous participant it is just walk in between 9-11:30 ! But not to worry because this hidden gem is not busy at all! ESP compared to the Laos and KL one. Go onto their website to get the visa application form and there is also an authorization form to fill out for minor children obtaining visa (really short form) on top of the application form.
We just finished in Taipei as a family of 4. My husband applied first, he got approved at 4pm the same day, then the kids and I applied the next morning as dependants, had to come back at 4pm that day to find out if we were approved or not then paid the fee when approved. We then pick up on the next business day at 4pm.
We provided 6 months bank statements but we have more than 500K for the whole 6 months.
Base on other peopleās experiences, you may be fine having the funds sitting there for just a month.
