So if I entered the country with him and he got a 30 day visa exemption, because he won't be fined for over staying until 15 I essentially dont need to keep making border runs with him? It won't matter to the authorities if he's overstayed or could it be recorded and counted against him in the future?
America tends to be stricter about these sorts of things, we've already spoken with our embassies concerning passports and have been told that we do not need to apply (for temporary passports) until we have an actual date we are leaving the country, although we plan to apply earlier.
Ok thanks everyone. I understand he'll need a passport if we go out of Thailand but was unsure if he needs one if we only travel within Thailand. Perhaps we'll be better of with the train!
