Thanks Andy - I did get insurance before I moved here in April. I think the family member will have insurance I am just wondering if there needs to be a specific length that the insurance covers for. For example if its just the time they are in the country or for the length of the visa they would obtain

you can’t spout historical opinion as reality/fact and im really not in this for a great historical debate over a facebook group thats to do with visas (yes and everything else) - but i would however suggest you reading up on the war since you seem so indebted to it and phil, you may find that outside of the british propaganda story is a truth that would lay your thanks at a door that didnt have the union jack encrusted to the front of it. Enjoy watching the funeral on you tube lad

ignoring the fact you used the word ‘stupid’. Not sure what you expected la - the fella was a massive racist and a nonce sympathizer, amongst a list of other things .. sure you are entitled to your maddening amounts of patriotism the same way others are entitled to not care about his funeral. I was born and grew up in the UK and feel absolutely nothing but a blank empty hole towards the country & the monarch, to each their own aye?

oh right yeah so the visa length originally is 90 days on a non-b? then when I arrive an application is made for the full year which is my contract length is that right? Thats cool will save me a lot of money if so, I have details about insurance through my employer but felt a bit confused as to if I needed to purchase a separate for regulation purposes or something.

Thanks Ben appreciate the help - I have also joined this group. Do you know If I come on a Non b if the insurance only needs to be valid for 90 days or the entire length of working contract? I hadn't thought of asking that to anyone before, only got quotes for a full year

Thanks David - the online form is just through the Thai e-visa site correct? The ASQ & flight need to be booked before I fill in the online form or I can do it after I get approval from the embassy before I apply for COE?
