haha, it's not my choice but the van we book for cricket picks us up and drops us off down soi 13, so it would be rude not to have a pint afterwards 🤣

I haven't been down soi 4 in a while, not much open down there? Just the Hillary 2 bar? I hear there's been a bit of internal police politics going on too

they are small fry for sure, I'm usually down soi 13 which has been heaving last few weekends...but the bars there can afford the brown envelopes

did they reopen after they pulled the shutters down or stay closed? I went off elsewhere when the police returned a few minutes after walking off.

the police were down Sukhumvit soi 7 last night and closed the place at 9, none of those bars sell food. Seemed a bit more serious a 'raid' than usual. Last weekend the bar I was in closed at midnight, they get notice from police as to what they can and can't do so often close with 5 minute warning etc
