Is it possible to convert this extension into educational or volunteer visa without leaving Thailand?

I believe that’s possible. I don’t see why not. Thailand’s economy has been battered by cv-19....They need as much income from Foreigners /Westerners right now.

Lisa Kühn that’s a good question as it’s up to the officer 👮‍♀️...She really didn’t hesitate or asked any questions....She gave me the extension without asking any questions....If I had to “guess” I would say that your chances are good. I’d go right away...

I agree with you, right now I’m paying for:

1) Rent in Thailand

2) Food in Thailand

3)1,900 Baht CV-Extension to the Thai Government..

Why would they end the extension and cut off the hand that feeds them. Until the ASEAN borders open up...Extensions will continue, I’m coming up on 2 years Extension...

yes I live here, do you? No, they don't have to keep extending it until the land borders open. They can cancel it whenever they want to, regardless of whether land borders are open or not.
